Shiny Torchic Amigurumi

Want to make your own Shiny Torchic? You will need the below items – very similar to the normal Torchic pattern. (items for the original Torchic crossed out):

YARN & HOOK

• 2mm hook

• Stylecraft Special DK in Jaffa, Citron and Parchment

• 6mm black safety eyes

• Fibres in Orange Yellow for needle felting*

• Needle felting tool*

• Polyester toy filling

• Pipe cleaner (approx. 30cm long) – ideally the same colour as the beak... But I only had yellow...

• Pins to place pieces before sewing together

• Darning needle

• Stitch markers (I prefer using scrap yarn as “stitch markers”)

* Please note that I have used needle felting to create the eyes. Needle felting is still quite new to me so I will not be including instructions on how to do this. You may want to look into alternative ways of creating the eyes.

Follow the instructions in the original Torchic pattern here!

Note that colours are inverted from the original pattern. Head & Body is worked in Citron, feathers in Jaffa, and the beak in Parchment.
