Stylecraft Special DK in Powder Pink, Fondant & Midnight
9mm Black safety eyes

ch chain
dc double crochet
sl st slip stitch

dec decrease; insert hook in the front loop of the next two sts, yarn over, pull through both loops, y.o. and pull through remaining two loops –> one dc placed into two sts
ASSEMBLY
Assemble in the same order the pattern is written. I would recommend using a photo of Mime Jr as reference for best possible outcome. Pin all the pieces in place before sewing to make sure it looks right.

Do not fasten off yet – we will now split the bottom of the body into 2 legs
FIRST LEG
R27: dc 2, dec x 3, dc 2 (7), skip the remaining 14 stitches, work next round in these 7 sts only
R28: dc 7
Fasten off. Weave in loose end by inserting darning needle in the back loop of each st and pull tight to close the hole.
Stuff the body
SECOND LEG
R27: Going back to the 14 unworked sts, skip the first 2 sts and attach the yarn to the 3rd unworked st, leave a long tail at the start as we will use this to sew together the middle of the legs, dc in the same st, dc in the next st, dec x 3, dc 2 (7), skip the last 2 sts of the round in these 7 sts only
R28: dc 7
Fasten off. Weave in loose end by inserting darning needle in the back loop of each st and pull tight to close the holeStuff the remaining body if needed, and then use the long tail at the start of the second leg to sew together the 4 unworked stitches (2 at the front and 2 at the back).
BOBBLE EDGING ON DRESS
