Shiny Chikorita Amigurumi

Want to make your own Shiny Chikorita? You will need the below items (the items for the original Chikorita crossed out):

YARN & HOOK

Shiny Chikorita by loopycathrine

  • 2mm hook

  • Stylecraft Special DK in Kelly Green Gold, and Citron Scheepjes in Almelo

  • Black embroidery floss

  • Polyester toy filling

  • Fibres in Brown, Burgundy, White and Black needle felting*

  • Needle felting tool*

  • 1 x Pipe cleaner

  • Pins to place pieces before sewing together

  • Darning needle

  • Stitch markers (I prefer using scrap yarn as “stitch markers”)

 

*Please note that I have used needle felting to create the eyes and mouth. Needle felting is not something I do frequently so I will not be including instructions on how to do this. You may want to look into alternative ways of creating these.
